Name: James Munro
Class: ‘17
Major: Drama with a German minor
Hometown: Walpole, MA
Her Campus Hofstra: Where do you like to shop?
James Munro: I really like shopping online at Jack Threads. It has a unique style and I feel like it just fits me. I don’t normally see a lot of people wearing the brand, which is a plus to me because I want to be different and wear clothes other people aren’t. If I’m not shopping at Jack’s I usually shop at either H&M or Tommy Hilfiger. However, if I’m shopping for skinny jeans I ONLY get them at Levi’s! They are the best. I would never buy skinny jeans from anywhere else.
HCH: Are skinny jeans a staple in your wardrobe?
JM: Yes, the skinnier the better. I first started wearing skinny jeans my senior year of high school when we went to a trip to Florida and I visited an outlet mall with a Levi’s store. I tried on a pair and they were so tight and the funny thing is that they weren’t even as skinny as I wear them now. They were slim fit and now I actually wear skinny jeans. Honestly, at first they were very hard to walk in. But I love them.
HCH: Have you ever received any good style advice?
JM: It’s not so much that I was told this, but I noticed my friend rolling up his skinny jeans and I loved it. It’s something I try to incorporate into my style.
HCH: How would you describe your style?
JM: I really like to wear V-necks and skinny jeans. I’m on the lower side of preppy; I’m starting to wear more and more button ups. I currently work at Tommy Hilfiger, which is a preppier brand and I find myself buying clothes there.
