As a college student, it’s important to think about and plan for the future. What will I do after college? Where will I work? How do I take the first step in my career?—Are all questions we will find ourselves asking at some point. Deciding where to start your career can be a stressful task but don’t worry, Hofstra has many different resources to help students find their place in the job world after college. This Wednesday, October 18th, The Career Center at Hofstra University is hosting their annual Career Fair. It’s a great place to get in contact with potential employers and build relationships with different companies and organizations.

If you are looking for a place to network in your field, the Career Fair is the place for you! The fair, which will run from 11:00 am-2:00 pm, will be held in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. The Career Fair is a great place for Hofstra students to find internships and job opportunities. The Career Center has gathered over 100 companies to visit Hofstra in hopes of finding applicants for full-time, part-time and internship positions at their companies. Whether your major is in business, communications, the sciences, or anything else in between, there will be a place for your field of studies at the Career Fair.

Students, be sure to come dressed to impress and have multiple copies of your resume printed! If you’re having trouble formatting your resume or simply want to have it reviewed, the Career Center has you covered. They offer Quick Question hours Monday through Friday, 10:00 am-11:00 am, and 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. Stop by before the Career Fair to make sure your resume is in perfect condition.
