Â
NAME: Mackenzie Dunn
Â
AGE:Â 19 (Happy Birthday!!)
Â
CLASS STANDING: SophomoreÂ
Â
MAJOR: Health SciencesÂ
Â
HOMETOWN: East Greenbush, New York
Â
RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Very Much Single!Â
Â
INVOLVEMENT AT HOFSTRA: I’m a member of the sorority Delta Phi Epsilon and a part of the Hofstra Health Club!
Â
HOBBIES: In the summer I like to travel to different places on little vacations, and go camping with my friends! In winter I love staying inside and watching movies with hot cocoa! I also love to shop, what girl doesn’t?!
Â
FUN FACT: I went to Italy and went to touch Christopher Columbus’s house, and when I touched it, I accidentally broke off a huge chunk of it. I was so afraid I would get in trouble that I threw it into a bush and quickly walked away.Â
Â
FAVORITE FOOD: I love all foods but pasta and sushi is basically my staple diet.Â
Â
DO YOU HAVE ANY INTERESTING NICKNAMES: I will respond to essentially anything, but it’s normally Mack or Kenzie. But my best friend calls me Macaroni and I love it.Â
Â
PET PEEVES: I hate when people mumble, do you really want me to say “what?” 20 more times then smile and nod because I still don’t know what you’re saying?Â
Â
CELEB CRUSH: Robert Downey Jr. and Jimmy Fallon. I love RDJ’s sarcasm and Jimmy is so down to earth!
Â
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN AÂ GUY: Definitely a guy that can make me laugh and that likes my quirkiness. I love when a guy can brighten my day just by asking how I am. It’s the little things that count!Â
Â
WORST DATE: I went on a couple dates with this guy who was a total gym rat. Working out is just fine, but when you try to give me a daily gym regimen, that’s when I quit! He wouldn’t stop talking about protein and “leg day” and just nonstop sports. I should have stopped seeing him after the first date, but I believe in second chances, and it only got worse. Never again!Â
Â
IDEAL DATE: There’s nothing better than going to a diner at midnight to get some breakfast food with someone you like.Â
Â
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS: Probably (hopefully) someplace like PA school or Med school! I really want to help people when I’m older.Â
Â
ROLE MODEL: Of course my parents and brother will always be role models, they give me endless support! But my main role model would probably be my grandma. She has taught me to be independent and to work for what I want since nothing is handed to us!Â
Â
ONE PLACE YOU WANT TO TRAVEL TO: Greece! The small little house on the mountains are so pretty to me.Â
