Â
What are you involved in on campus?
Involved as a Resident Assistant (Constitution Hall) and Pride Guide. Just finished an Internship at FXCM (one of the largest foreign exchange brokers in the world — branch in downtown Manhattan), and am participating in some departmental research now.
Â
What made you decide to come to Hofstra?
This is always a question I hate to answer on tours, because I sort of arbitrarily chose Hof (I never visited or anything — I am a mess haha). However, I always like to say that I have stayed at Hofstra because of the location to the city, the small classes/individualized approach to education, and the multifaceted diversity on campus!
Â
Describe yourself in 3 words.
July 17th Cancer. Can I do that? If not, gregarious, authentic, business-casual.
Â
Dream Job?
Secretary-General of the United Nations. Or Lin-Manuel Miranda
Favorite Disney character?
Mary Poppins (that was my floor theme last semester)
Â
Best class you’ve taken at Hofstra?
My international economics class (I’m sure that sounds riveting hahaha)! That, or Politics of the European Union
Favorite on-campus spot?
The cafe in the library is Hofstra’s hidden gem: the coffee there is some of the best on campus, there are no lines, and the barista ladies are so nice! I’m very much a morning person/caffeinator so I’m a big fan of anywhere on campus with decent coffee!
Most played song?
Like everyone on Earth, I am swooning over Hamilton. I was lucky enough to see it both in its off-Broadway run at the Public and on Broadway, and it changed my life — Alexander Hamilton is ME! That said, “Non-Stop”, is my most-frequently played song: it’s so audacious, much like myself haha!
