Hofstra’s musical theatre club, Masquerade Musical Theatre, will premiere their 2016 main stage show this weekend! This year’s show is Stephen Sondheim’s Company! The original production was nominated for a record-setting fourteen Tony Awards and won six. This tony-award winning musical revolves around Bobby (a single man who isn’t ready to commit to a steady relationship), the five married couples who are his best friends, and his three girlfriends. Company has an entertaining score including the popular songs “The Ladies Who Lunch” and “Being Alive.” This production is directed by freshman drama majors, Ashley Miller and Cristina O’Toole, Musical Direction by Evan Rees and Choreographed by freshman drama major Caroline Orlando.
Shows are at April 29 at 8PM, April 30 at 2PM and 8PM and May 1 at 2PM in the Spiegel Theater tickets are $5.
