The Chainsmokers have been pretty on-point in their past few songs (I’m talking after the “Selfie” song). Daya is also a great new artist who has a lot of potential and has sung one of my favorite songs (“Hide Away”). Put them together and you might just have a new hit.

That’s exactly what happened. In the new song “Don’t Let Me Down,” Daya collaborates on a song with The Chainsmokers and creates this great hit that is becoming very popular.
I first heard it when my roommate showed it to me. We both thought that this was going to be on our party playlist ASAP.  And that’s what we did. Of course, any EDM song already has the potential to make for a great party song, but if you already like the artist, then you’re set for a good time.

Next, I heard it in one of my fitness classes called Pound, where you do a lot of squats, lunges and other kinds of legs and abs workouts and pound sticks together to the beat of a song. This EDM song made it really easy to follow the work out routine. The beat was enough to never rest, and it would start slow, then the beat would drop and go fast, then it would slow again. It really gets you moving. If you did want to workout to this song, I’d recommend it!
I’m hoping for some more songs like this out of the Chainsmokers, and I’m really hoping Daya comes out with some new songs. Her voice is so distinct and I think that’s the reason why it works so well with this song as well. Let’s see where there music takes us next!
