Tune-In Tuesday: How Deep is Your Love

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

Welcome back to school! It’s been almost a month in, and I’m sure it was a thrill having your first few classes and freaking out over all the homework you’ve already received. No worries, Tune-In Tuesdays are back to make sure you can get lost in the music for at least a short amount of time!

So much has been going on since college started up and running! Fall Fest happened, and it was “Ludacris.” and we’ve been keeping up to date with our favorite bars. Why not bring the party to your own dorm? (Safely, you can still have fun while being careful!)

I have been non stop listening to a certain song that I can probably dance to ten times in a row because it’s so catchy and upbeat. What’s the song, you ask? It’s Calvin Harris featuring the Disciples with “How Deep Is Your Love.”

It’s great to workout to and it’s great to dance to. The perfect combination? I think so! The beat is just enough where it’s not rapid fire of beats or the bass isn’t blasting in your ear.

I like Calvin Harris in that respect. I feel like he is a great DJ, and paired with good people. The Disciples a very distinct voice, and it works with this song. I haven’t listened to any of the Disciples’ music, so it is nice to hear something knew from someone new. I expect much more music to come!

Just imagine this; dimmed lights, water speakers, “How Deep Is Your Love” playing around the room. Pretty cool, right? Plus, the music video with Gigi Hadid is perfection. Try it out and see what you think. Have a wonderful year, and stay “tuned” for Tune-In Tuesdays!
