Cupid, chocolates, flowers, stuffed bears, and a reservation drought at every restaurant for miles. Whether you love or hate the holiday, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. If you’ve been so busy getting back into the second semester groove, as I have, and haven’t given a thought to your possible plans for the 14th, I’ve got you covered. Whether you’re under pressure to plan the perfect date night for your new beau, looking to just have a Galentines excursion, or treat yourself to some precious alone time for a self-love date, here are some great spots in Worcester to feel the love this V-Day!

  1. The Mercantile

If you want a blend of casual and elevated for your Valentine’s Day dinner, the Mercantile is perfect for you! Throw on some jeans and that cute new bodysuit, or a dress if you’re feeling extra fancy, and enjoy the trendy, mouthwatering food at the Merc. My personal favorites are the Tuna Poké bowl and the Fish Tacos-easily shareable with a date or a group of friends.

  1. Via Italian Table

Need something a little more upscale to really wow your Valentine? Snag a reservation at Via Italian Table and enjoy great service, romantic ambiance, and fabulous eats. Enjoy the delicious truffle fries to start, move on with the filet mignon, and then finish it off with the melt-in-your-mouth tiramisu.

Want to do something a little different but still get your foodie on this Valentine’s Day? Stroll with your loved one(s) through the Worcester Public Market and find some delicious options for all tastes, with Mediterranean, Cuban, and Italian bites, to name a few. Enjoy browsing the specialty goods vendors while devouring your delicious snack of choice, hand-in-hand with your beau.

What better way to feel the romance this Valentine’s Day than enjoying some culture with your special someone? Gaze at the beautiful works of art, or your partner’s eyes, as you wander hand-in-hand through the Worcester Art Museum.
