Now that the semester is in full gear…whether you’re excited to be at school or just happy to be back on a schedule, who doesn’t like a social media study break?!? I have found that once I set my phone down I need to resist the temptation to check my phone…yes, this can be VERY hard. I’ve learned that when on social media, you should make your time worth while. You can maximize your time on Twitter by following interesting, thought provoking, and even lighthearted Twitter accounts. Here are a few that I would recommend:
1. When we can use some divine intervention: @Pontifex
2. For all those Netflix lovers, Frank Underwood (from House of Cards – NEW SEASON RELEASED ON FEBRUARY 27th): @Frank_Underwood
3. When you’re stressed and need to take a step back: @ChillVibes
4. When you need words of wisdom, dealing with adversity and need life advice: @Kairos_Quotes
Being productive in the library is essential…we all try to keep our time on social media to a minimum, especially as midterms get closer. Use Twitter to follow accounts that will make YOU feel good, make YOU laugh, and inspire YOU to put your best foot forward.
