Huston native Megan Thee Stallion dropped a new song, “Hiss” on Jan. 26 that turned heads. The song was meant to be a diss to her haters. She started off the track with, “ I just want to kick this s*** off by sayin’ f*** y’all.”
The song got the attention of Nicki Minaj, who was not happy with the mention of Megan’s Law, which is a sex offender notification law. Minaj presumed that the lyrics were referring to her husband and brother, who have both been convicted of crimes involving sexual misconduct against minors.
After the song dropped, Minaj took to Instagram Live to discuss the situation. While she doesn’t explicitly name-drop Megan, she does reference a “big foot” which fans deducted to be about Megan.
On Jan. 29, Nicki put out the response to Hiss, Big Foot. She claimed Megan lied on her mother, who passed away in 2019, about her incident with Tory Lanez in 2020, spoke about alleged sexual relations with multiple rappers, and claimed she had sexual relations in exchange for tracks.
As of now, Megan has not responded to Big Foot or any allegations made by Nicki on social media. Following the drop of Hiss, Megan went on Good Morning America to announce a new album and a 2024 summer tour.
Social media was deep into the beef, bringing out Nicki Minaj’s fanbase, the barbs, and Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girls to duke it out in the comments.
