Nia Dennis, a junior at the University of California, Los Angeles has gone social media viral after her Beyoncé-inspired floor routine was posted online during a gymnastics competition.
Perfectly executing the moves of Queen B, while confidently landing roundoff back handsprings, split leaps, and front aerials, Dennis scored a jaw-dropping 9.975.
A member of the UCLA team since her freshman year, Dennis has also represented the United States National team internationally, as well as being named to the 2019 First-Team All- American on bars. This 2018 NCAA team champion possesses quite an impressive resume that she has the ability to expand with scores from performances just like her Beyoncé tribute floor routine.
Not only did this #BlackGirlMagic moment occur just days before the end of Black History Month, the outpouring of love and equal recognition of women in sports has carried over into the month of March, which is Women’s History Month.
