When prospective students  go to college, they realize that these are the years preparing them for adulthood. It is time to be independent, smart and ready!Â
Â
But why grow up so fast? Yes it is crucial to know how to make do in the real world; however keeping in touch with our inner child is unbelievably beneficial.
Â
Try watching movies you used to watch as a child, like the classic Disney movies: Lion King, Cinderella, Snow White, the Aristocats, etc. Do arts and crafts for others, make Popsicle stick jewelry boxes, macaroni art, color in coloring books, or finger paint! Go outside and jump rope, double-dutch, play hopscotch or hide and seek. Go to a playground and just swing on the swing set.
Â
Activities like these will take your minds off the reality of everyday stresses, and allow for a carefree attitude and add to your spirit. Connecting wit your inner child will remind you of how stress free you were in your younger years, and how you can still live with the somewhat same attitude. Of course we all have to be serious about our futures, we are the leaders of tomorrow, however, with youthful rejuvenation, we can progress even more.
