JN: What quote do you live by and why?
TS: “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
Everything in life is about perspective. I try approaching even frustrating things or controverisal issues with a positive attitude and open mind.
Â
JN: Where do you see yourself in 10-20 years?
TS: I see myself teaching biology to either middle or high school students. I also see myself with at least one child by then, maybe two. Â
JN: If you could spend the day with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
TS: My dad, he is my best friend.Â
Â
JN: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?
TS: Definately somewhere in England, but I will probably end up in NY, all my family is here!Â
Â
JN: What is something most people on campus don’t know about you?
TS: I can play the violin, love to sing, and play softball, all things that I don’t participate in here at HWS. :(
Â
JN: What’s an embarrassing story you’re willing to share?
TS: This past weekend I was helping out after the harvest dinner, cleaning, and we took a huge pot of soup home with us. I was carrying said pot outside against me (in the dark) and was like “wow this pot is pretty hot still”. I got in the car and looked down and there was red/orange soup spilled all down the front of me!! After this my friend Lizzie drove over a speed bump and when I got home I found soup stuck inbetween my socks and WHITE Converse. It looked like a baby threw up all over me.Â
Â
JN: How do you feel about being nominated as a Campus Cutie?
TS: So surprised and honored!Â
Â
JN: What would you like to be remembered for?
TS: I would like to be remembered as a loyal and loving friend/family member. I think that being happy and making others happy is the most important part of life.
