In this one year, we are always trying to find a sense of fulfillment while staying home. But some of you may be getting bored of such days, and looking for something to make you feel inspired.

Here, self-investment can make your ordinary life more productive. When you invest yourself, you put a lot of time and effort into it. Those efforts are a key to changing and loving yourself.

This article will give you four ideas for self-investment which I have tried before. I hope you can find something new from them!

 

Start working out as a habit

I will get to it from tomorrow…

If you always keep saying this, it’s time to get serious! Of course, it’s hard to continue working out as a habit, but by creating your own “rules,” you can make it stick! If your friends realize your changes, you can succeed in a workout.

Here are some recommendations for work out rules:

– Choose a short workout video so that you can easily try it.

– Treat yourself a little with your favorite sweets.

– Make a playlist to enjoy working out.

– Make a declaration to your friends so that you cannot skip a workout.

Take a trial language lesson online

If you are interested in learning a language but are unwilling to go out to the classroom, online lectures may be a way to start. There are lectures not only for English, but also for other worldwide languages such as French, Chinese, and Korean. Moreover, lectures are usually given in a one-on-one setting, so you can find a plan which meets your needs. These days, many lessons provide a trial term or a discount plan so that you can feel free to try it before committing. Language skills can expand your friendships and possibility in your future.

I took a 30 minute online lecture every single day. For all lectures, I could choose when and what I would learn, and even the teacher. I found it very effective and productive.

Take good care of your body

Many of you may improve daily skin care while staying home, but we tend to take no notice and give no care for parts of our body we don’t often see or think about. But that’s exactly the reason why we should care for them.

The parts you could care for are, for example, your best, hips, heels, or joints. These days, there are many kinds of self-care products for these body parts. So you can find effective products by searching on social media or the internet. It is a bit of a bother to care for these invisible parts, but the more you see the effects of your efforts, the better care for yourself you may take!

Get ready for your future trips

Right now, it is difficult to go on trips, but you can still make plans for them! Start searching for famous spots and foods through social media or the internet. It is also a good idea to start savings for traveling abroad. The more you plan, the higher expectation you may have. 

Trips can give you a new world, new experience, and even a new perspective!

It is not easy to keep doing these self-investment activities because you won’t see a change in yourself immediately. But, when you meet your friends after a long time, they may point out small changes they see in you, or you may even notice new confidence in your mind. That is excellent, isn’t it? I hope you can find a chance to become more wonderful.
