5 Skincare Products That I’ve Reused Countlessly

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at ICU (Japan) chapter.

I personally have a mixture of oily and dry skin–oily around my nose and forehead, while my cheeks and chin are drier–that was difficult for me to find the right products for my face. But today, I will be showing you guys skincare products that I love and have reused countless amount of times. Some of these products may not work for everyone, however, I hope that you’ll try some of them out!

Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water

I used to take off my makeup with face wipes. My skin used to get so irritated using makeup wipes because it was hard to get the makeup off “just like that.” However, ever since I’ve started using micellar water, my skin changed forever. My skin has not been irritated even once when taking off makeup because all you need is gentle pressure when it comes to taking off makeup. Although there are many different kinds and brands of micellar water, Bioderma’s Sensibio H20 Micellar Water is the best one yet because you can take off the makeup without even trying that hard.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Sunscreen

Ever since I was younger, I always played sports in the sun, which means that it was very important for me to have sunscreen. I have always been annoyed with sunscreen that gave me a white cast as well as sunscreens that are sticky. I have finally found the perfect sunscreen: Bioré’s UV Aqua Rich Sunscreen. I’m addition to how it doesn’t leave a white case or is sticky at all, it’s also very light weighted.

Curél Intensive Moisture Facial Cream

This product is one of my holy grails. As I mentioned before, my skin is a combination of oily and dry skin, which means it was very difficult for me to find a moisturizer that would work on both of my skin. However, Curél’s Intensive Moisture Facial Cream work for my combination skin. Not only does the cream hydrates my skin, but you only need to use a pea-sized amount to moisturize your whole face.

Mediheal Face Mask

This famous face mask is from Korea. There are many different types of masks, ones that have collagen and even masks that are made in collaboration with the famous Kpop group, BTS. However, I have two favorite kinds of face masks–the tea tree face mask and the intensive hydrating mask. The tea tree face mask (the one in the green packaging) is good for pimples, acne, and blemish, and I like to use it when my skin is getting worse, especially during my periods. On the other hand, the intensive hydrating mask (the one in the blue packaging) is something I do when my skin feels like it needs some hydrating to do, especially in the winter. However, many other kinds of Mediheal masks are available for purchase and are great as my favorites.

Vaseline

You guessed it, good ole Vaseline. This is really essential for my lips, especially because my lips get chapped during the day. Although I do use it during the day, I must use it at night because that’s the time when both my skin and lips get to heal. I love it because even though my lips were chapped towards the end of the day, I put it on at night and wake up the next morning to healed lips looking good as new.

I hope you were able to enjoy reading about some of my favorite products. If you have the chance to, please try some of the products I’ve recommended!
