Milan Fashion Week (MFW) was held from February 17th to the 24th this year, and the first thing I thought when I saw all the outfits in the show was: “SO COLORFUL”. Pink, purple, yellow, green… many colours dominated the city of Milan during MFW, celebrating the spring/summer season cheerfully. Here are some outfits which you can easily imitate the latest high fashion trends and bring some colour into your outfits.
- 10 AM: Pink
-
When it comes to spring, PINK is definitely one of the colours that comes to mind. It’s definitely my favourite spring colour. During the Fashion Week event, many pink outfits appeared in the city. Like Leonie, choosing one vivid pink article of clothing and keeping the rest of your outfit and accessories simple is the fastest and easiest way to incorporate statement colours.
- 13 PM: Purple
-
Emili‘s style is always undeniably cute. She once talked about her fashion inspiration being “Sex and the City” and this definitely proof of that. What makes her outfits so great is the way she incorporates some colour in each look without exception. She shows us in her Instagram feed how to use not only purple, but many different colours in our outfits.
- 17 PM: Beige
-
If you are looking for some neutral classy style, go to Caroline. Her mix of light and dark beige shines in the sunset. The combination of a messy ponytail and a classy shirt will suit any occasion!
- 19 PM: Yellow
-
Even though the Milan skies gets darker, the clothes still shine bright. If you have a colourful small pochette, it can add a beautiful accent to your outfits. Viky chose monochromatic yellows for every piece of her outfit.
After the Met Gala—my favorite fashion event—was postponed, I couldn’t be bothered to do anything but by finding new styles and learning from them, my spring and summer have begun to shine. I hope these colourful styles can inspire you and make you feel better while you stay at home. Let’s be colourful!
