Her Campus Illinois State: What are your involvements at ISU?Danny Maurer: I’m a member of the lacrosse team.
HC ISU: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?DM: I see myself settled down with a couple of kids and a wife, teaching my own math class, and coaching a sport.
HC ISU: Who is your role modelDM: My biggest role model in life would have to be my dad. He has always been there for me when I have needed him most and has always believed in me.
HC ISU: What’s your biggest pet peeve?DM: My biggest pet peeve would have to be people who don’t have any consideration for others.
HC ISU: What’s something someone may not know about you at first?DM: My mom is actually the house mom of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority here at ISU.
HC ISU: What’s a motto you live by?DM: You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
HC ISU: Where can we find you on a Friday night?DM: With my boys at the Birdhouse.
HC ISU: What’s something you cant live without?DM: My family and friends.
HC ISU: What do you look for in a girl?DM: Someone who has a good personality along with a good sense of humor. I want a girl that can fit in when I bring her around my friends.
HC ISU: What’s your biggest turn on and turn off?DM: My biggest turn on is a girl who is good with kids and my biggest turn off is a girl who smokes cigarettes
HC ISU: What’s the first thing you notice about a girl?DM: The first thing I notice is probably her eyes.
