Studying Agriculture Business, Desmond is enjoying his first year here at Illinois State. He is a down to earth individual with a lot to offer. His laid-back and generous attitude only reflects a small fragment of his awesome personality. Originally from Georgia, he has a big southern heart and loves to cruise to country music. Sound like a keeper ladies? You betcha!
HC ISU: So Desmond, what are you studying?
DT: I am an Agriculture Business major as of now.
HC ISU: What are you future plans with your major?
DT: To be honest, I don’t know if I will end up doing anything with Agriculture Business. I am really interested in Criminal Justice as well.
HC ISU: Criminal Justice huh?
DT: Yeah I would love to be in the FBI. (laughs)
HC ISU: Where would be your ideal place to settle down?
DT: Definitely Georgia. I was born in Rockford, but Georgia is where I grew up.
HC ISU: Are you involved with anything here on campus?
DT: I am a part of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. I really enjoy it because it’s a good social scene and I have met a lot of friends through it.
HC ISU: Who is your biggest role model?
DT: I would definitely say my step dad. He is a lot of the reason why I am the person I am today.
HC ISU: That’s so sweet! What would you say your biggest pet peeve is?
DT: Oh gosh. I would have to say people walking from class to class with headphones in and always staring at their phones. Everyone just looks like zombies walking around campus! I’m a social guy and like to interact with people so I would say that’s pretty big for me.
HC ISU: What would you say your ideal girl is?
DT: Definitely someone who is fun and makes me laugh when I’m around them. Also someone who can put up with me (I can be a lot to handle sometimes).
HC ISU: Where would you want to take that special girl out on a date?
DT: I would for sure do a romantic candle light dinner on a boat. Preferably in Charleston bay. It is absolutely gorgeous!
XOXO, HC ISU
