Do you have a secret that you’re afraid to tell anyone?
Illinois State “Whisper” is an app that allows students to post secrets anonymously about themselves. Each “secret” is turned into a cool design before being uploaded to the blog. It is closely related to ISU Confessions, but Whisper is an actual app. There are over a million app downloads and campus pages at over 40 schools.
To use the app you must first download it in the iTunes App Store. You create a profile and from there can begin Whisper-ing. To create a Whisper users can choose from stock photos or take a picture of their own. Then users can type out a ‘whisper’ or secret that is place on top of the image.
The coolest part about this is app is that users can interactive with others by responding to other whispers with their own whisper or a more personal direct message. Whisper is a great way for ISU students to talk to other students on campus with similar interests.
