Every month, Netflix adds new shows and movies for you to sit in bed all day and just binge watch. In December, they added a TV series called “You” and it is literally so good. I need a season 2 to start because it was that intense. You want to add this to your list of things to watch, and I am going to tell you why.

The show “You” is originally from the Lifetime channel, and it stars “lonely boy Dan” from “Gossip Girl”. Now I never knew I could see lonely boy being a stalker, but he plays it perfectly. Joe is a manager at a book store, one day this girl walks in. Her name is Beck and it’s all twists and turns from there. He begins stalking her, and looking through her social media. He does it so quietly that she ends up falling in love with him, which is scary and creepy at the same time.

If you want a thriller that will keep you on your toes this is the show for you. You will be so drawn in that you will probably binge watch all ten episodes in one sitting. If you have seen “Gossip Girl”, it’s almost like that. There are so many connections from that show to this show. It’s crazy that in the first few minutes of the show, I was already biting my nails, and shook at how real and scary internet stalking really is.

This show is so unpredictable because you would think it’s going to be like any stalker related TV or movie scene, but this one was original. When you think you finally got it figured out and know what’s going on, a plot twist is thrown. I watched the whole season in one day, granted there are only 10 episodes. I am hoping for a second season because there was a cliffhanger at the end, just like any other good TV show has.

Apart from the stalking and chills that you get while watchingsome of the scenes, there are multiple steamy scenes that make you think the show is semi normal, but it’s not. We also see that Shay Mitchell, who played Emily on “Pretty Little Liars”, plays Peach in this- (yes I know weird names). It’s different seeing her in something other than being hunted or hunting the famous A. But honestly this was such a good show.

You will not be able to look away, I highly suggest giving it a watch and who knows, it might be your new favorite show! Thank god for Netflix because otherwise we wouldn’t know about half the shows and movies we know about now!
