Books To Read Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Are you in a book slump? Do you want to get back into reading? Or, have you never really been that into reading, and need a few recommendations to get started? Look no further! Your days of walking around Barnes and Noble in an overstimulated haze are over. There are so many amazing books out there, and what better way to provide decent recommendations than to base them off of your zodiac signs! Below, Iā€™ve grouped zodiac signs into book tropes, and then provided a few recommendations per each book trope!

Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): Enemies to Lovers

This is definitely the hottest, and most popular trope in books right now, just like how fire signs see themselves. Typically, two people who are complete opposites have to work together to achieve a goal or overcome an obstacle. As they work together, they slowly overcome their dislike of each other and fall in love. A few of my recommendations for fantasy are The Cruel Prince, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and From Blood and Ash. My regular romance recommendations are The Hating Game, The Unhoneymooners, and Red, White, and Royal Blue.

Air Signs (Libra, Gemini, Aquarius): Friends to Lovers

I feel like these signs would be the types to enjoy a wholesome story where friends develop their relationship into something more romantic. Usually, one person in the relationship likes the friend more than a friend while the other is oblivious, and air signs can be a little flirty and unaware of other peopleā€™s feelings! My romance recommendations are: Mansfield Park, People We Met on Vacation and The Song of Achilles. For fantasy or dystopian lovers, I recommend Graceling and The Hunger Games.

Water Signs (Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces): Fake Relationship

I feel like these signs would be the type to not want a relationship at first, but eventually fall in love when they meet that person, and the trope that would best match this is a fake relationship! For romance lovers, I suggest: The Love Hypothesis, The Duke and I, and To All the Boys Iā€™ve Loved Before. For paranormal fans, I recommend: Riley Thorn and the Dead Guy Next Door and The Last Hours series!

Earth Signs (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo): Forbidden Love

Since earth signs are usually grounded and make their decisions wisely, forbidden love would definitely be their trope! They stay true to their beliefs (or do they?) until they finally let themselves fall for someone they shouldnā€™t want. Some fantasy recommendations are Vampire Academy, Hush Hush and The Mortal Instruments. For regular romance fans, you should check out: XOXO, How to Choose a Guy in 10 Days and The Hating Game.
