How to Get a Guy in 10 Days

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Illinois chapter.

This will be an art and you will succeed. I have practiced this myself and it never fails. The secret to winning a man in 10 days is listed below.

First step is to find your target. He can be way out of your league, a friend or even a guy at a bar.

Then, make your presence known. (Try the Bend and Snap from Legally Blonde)

The next step is buying him a drink. The trick here is to be outgoing and he will most definitely find you appealing or cute, but either way works. After drinks and flirtatious laughing, swap numbers and this art project can begin.

Day 1 – Casual Romance

You need this date to be laid back or chill. That means, a walk or coffee date. It should definitely be super relaxed just in case he isn’t into you. If it isn’t working out, the scheming for the next man can commence.

Day 2 – Confessions

It is all about getting to know them. Do this over dinner. Plan the date for 6 pm and be there until the restaurant closes. You need him to confess everything about his life and let him get to know you, too.

Day 3 & 4 – Lady in the Street, but a Freak in the Sheets

These two days can be a wild card for the date or it could be the night you sleep with him.

If this happens, practice safe sex. Be a lady, but get it girl.

Day 5 – Friendly Encounters

Now is the time to meet his friends. It’s warm out, so wear a nice summer dress. You want it to show your curves and make his friends envy your relationship.

Day 6 – The Fun Date.

Bowling, basketball, swimming – anything to show you’re a serious contender and not a “typical” girlfriend. The goal is to beat him, so wear your game face.

Day 7 – Let the Music Play

Both of you should spend this day alone and listen to each other’s favorite music. Don’t speak to him and let him reminisce on your previous dates.

Day 8 – Wrapping Up

You are so close to sealing the deal. You need to do something romantic together, such as a date followed by a movie. You should pay for it all because you need him to understand that you appreciate his existence. Quote the movie Pretty Woman on the way to dinner: “In case I forget to tell you later, I had a really good time tonight.”

Day 9 – Supporting the Evidence

Hold his hand the whole time, make sure the hugs are extra long, and kiss his neck when you say goodbye. You want him to have feelings for you.

Day 10 – The Finale

Ask him to cook dinner for the both of you – request something you two can cook together. Then, by the end of the night, sit next to him on the couch, tell him you never want these dates to end, and look for his response on his face. If he smiles, you got him. If he laughs, kiss his cheek, and wait for him to ask if you will be his girlfriend.

You’re welcome.
