The Twilight Saga Edward and Bella
Summit Entertainment

The leaves are changing and the weather is finally cooling down, and do you know what that means? It’s officially the Twilight Saga season! There’s no better time to snuggle into a blanket and get lost in the world of sparkling vampires and dreamy Forks, Washington. But, what’s even better than the movies? The soundtracks! So, I’ve compiled a list of the best songs from the Twilight and New Moon movies to add to your playlists to fully immerse yourself in the fall vibes.

1. “Supermassive Black Hole” by Muse

No baseball team will ever match up to the Cullens’ “booming” games. This iconic song plays during the baseball game in the Twilight movie, and I think I speak for everyone when I say it’s a vibe. The booming bass and the early 2000’s grunge vibes truly capture the entire essence of the film.

2. “Roslyn” by Bon Iver and St. Vincent

There’s something so nostalgic sounding about this song. It’s slow, melancholic and gentle. This is from the New Moon movie, so it exemplifies the depressing feelings that Bella goes through because Edward leaves her. Even if this song is supposed to be sad and relate to Bella yearning for her man, it’s definitely a vibe. Bella, I’m so sorry Edward broke your heart, but this song justifies everything! This is perfect to listen to on a chilly fall walk.

3. “Possibility” by Lykke Li

I know this song sounds so depressing, but there’s something about it that’s so beautiful. This plays in the New Moon movie when Bella is sitting in her front window watching the seasons change (and hoping that Edward will come back). Edward is definitely not coming back Bella, but while you chill out and stare wistfully into space, we’ll all just sit back and listen to Lykke Li’s masterpiece. I feel like this would be a good song to listen to while you’re studying, just because it’s really peaceful and relaxing! It’s definitely a top contender out of these movie soundtracks.

4. “Decode” by Paramore

Paramore! The epitome of 2000’s angry girl grunge music! The fact that the producers of this movie got Hayley WIlliams on this album…iconic. Decode plays during the credits of the Twilight movie, but it wraps everything up so well! Its upbeat, metal sound is perfect for the spooky season!

So, there you have it! I definitely recommend listening to the entire soundtrack all the way through if you really want the full Edward vs. Jacob experience, but these four are perfect for the upcoming fall season! A few of my honorable mentions for Twilight are: “I Caught Myself,” “Eyes on Fire” and “Bella’s Lullaby.” For the New Moon, I suggest: “I Belong to You,” “Shooting the Moon” and “Meet Me on the Equinox.” I hope this helps you add to your autumn vibes!
