If you are going to postpone studying for finals, at least do it by watching this list of the Top 10 Movies of 2018 for College Students!

10. A Quiet Place

This movie tells the story of a post-alien invasion universe where humans are no longer the supreme beings. Throughout the movie you follow the life of a family working to survive in this alternate world. But in all honesty, John Krasinski’s beard is the only reason you need to watch this movie!

9. Ocean’s Eight

A classic extension of the Ocean’s franchise, but this time representing an all-women cast. Ocean’s Eight is a strong, girl power, action-packed movie featuring an all-star cast. If you need a movie to remind you of the bad b**** you are, this is the one for you!

8.  Love, Simon

This unique love story tells the story of a boy who is struggling to come out in high school. The heartwarming tale is the typical self discovery baseline with an unexpected twist at the end that leaves you walking away with a few happy tears.

7.  Incredibles 2

It’s about time that this movie came out! Incredibles 2 offers everything I could hope for and more being the sequel of such an iconic movie. The characters have developed a more mature humor that makes this movie great for all ages. Do I dare say I may have liked it better than the original?! Regardless, this movie is a must-see of 2018.

6. A Star is Born

I am still not over this movie. When I say I was a mess, I mean I needed an entire box of tissues to get me through this film. The remake of the classic featuring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper was a duo I was not ready for. If you are in need of a good cry, A Star is Born is a MUST see.

5. Black Panther

As a Marvel movie fanatic, Black Panther did not disappoint. The soundtrack, the cast, and the action were all amazing. It was a great addition to the Marvel characters. If you love superhero movies, Black Panther is a storyline that is both heartwarming and fast-paced, never leaving you bored.

4. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

This Netflix original movie was the talk of Twitter this past summer. While some thought it was overrated, I think this movie brings back those timeless high school romance movies we all need in our life. Having Peter Kavinsky on the screen makes it pretty easy to watch, too.

3. Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again

Mamma Mia 2…let’s just say it was ICONIC! My all-time favorite movie is the original Mamma Mia, and I have been a proud dancing queen since 2008. However, as the sequel approached I was of course nervous that it would ruin the classic. I can gladly say that this was not the case. The cast, music, and storyline were everything I wanted from the sequel and more. It answered questions, closed side stories, and gave me new songs to blast in the car. Honey Honey nearly kill me!

2. Infinity War

I said before that I am a huge Marvel fan, and Infinity War WRECKED ME! The research I did after this movie looking up conspiracies about the ending was endless. The combination of so much star power on the screen at times was overwhelming, but in the best way possible. If you have followed the franchise, you know the damage this movie did on our hearts. A must-watch, but I recommend viewing the other Marvel films beforehand in order to understand the plot.

1. Crazy Rich Asians

This movie was the ultimate underdog of 2018. The hype was subtle but the movie was fantastic. I only saw it recently and I can say it is on my list of all-time favorite movies. There has been a gap in the market for quality romantic comedies, and this movie was exactly what I did not know I needed. I was laughing nonstop at the characters and the graphics had a Gatsby parallel. A modern-day love story, and in my mind the best movie of 2018.
