The Indiana State Senate recently repealed the statewide ban against carryout alcohol sales on Sundays. For the first time since the prohibition, grocery, liquor and convenience stores will be able to sell alcohol from noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays, pending approval from Gov. Holcomb.

This was the first time the Indiana State Senate received a hearing to repeal the law. The Senate voted in favor of alcohol sales on Sundays 39-10.
