After a year of self-isolation and major event cancellations, the world is finally getting back on track which also includes pop culture events. The Met Gala, Golden Globes, Grammy’s, Oscars and celebrity weddings are all back in action and, honestly, better than ever. Here are the top five most iconic celebrity weddings of 2021  you need to know about:

Aubrey Plaza married her longtime screenwriter and director boyfriend, Jeff Baena. They began dating in 2011 when Aubrey starred in one of his movies. The best part of their story is that their marriage was only revealed on an Instagram post praising him for his new film that he wrote over quarantine. In the caption she said, “my darling husband” and even celebrities were writing in the comments that they were surprised by his new status as husband.

Another notable marriage that took a lot of fans by storm was Ariana Grande’s private wedding ceremony to Dalton Gomez. We were all just minding our business and going through a typical day until Grande decided to blow up the internet with her beautiful, bridal pictures. The pictures showed Grande in a simplistic Vera Wang dress with her iconic wing-liner and half-updo. If you are confused on who her new husband is, that is because he isn’t a celebrity at all; in fact, he is a successful Los Angeles real estate agent who was linked to Grande starting at the beginning of 2020. Hopefully, we’ll get to hear more about their marriage in her upcoming albums.

The next celebrity wedding that might’ve come across your Instagram feed is Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Even if you aren’t a fan of The Voice, I think you’d have to be living under a rock to not know that these two fell in love on the show as judges in 2015 and have been together ever since. They got married on July 7th and had a perfect ceremony that mixed her punk edge and his country roots on their Oklahoma property. The cutest factoid about the wedding was that their mutual friend, Carson Daley, the host of The Voice, officiated the wedding.

The fourth wedding celebration that was filled with celebs was Adam Devine and Chloe Bridges. You might know him as Bumper, the douche-y lead singer of the rival A Capella group in Pitch Perfect or his role in Workaholics or his friendship with Zac Efron. Him and Bridges got married in Cabo San Lucas on October 9th of this year. If you’re looking for a new couple to ship, I’d highly recommend looking at both of their Instagrams for adorable couple pictures and funny captions.

The fifth and final wedding you must know about is a pretty iconic one. Paris Hilton is now a married woman to Carter Reum, an author, entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Their 15 year friendship turned into a partnership around 2019 with his proposal to her in February of 2021. It wouldn’t be a Paris Hilton wedding without glamour, extra-ness and lots of celebrity guests. The actual wedding took place in Bel Air on 11/11, a sentimental date for the couple, but it was an entire weekend of festivities. In very Paris fashion, she had four looks for the weekend with one neon, 80s-inspired look for the afterparty at theSanta Monica Pier that they rented out. Some of the celebrity guests include Nicole Richie, Kim Kardashian, Paula Abdul, Emma Roberts, Demi Lovato, Ashley Benson and Bebe Rexha.
