Black Youth Project
The Black Youth Project works to put the voices of Black Youth on a platform. They promote the understanding of how black youth views sex, health, and politics based on their personal attitudes, resources, and culture. They want to make a space within society where these opinions can be shared safely and may be respected.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is an organization with a vision to liberate People of Color from a society that marginalizes and discriminates against them. Their goal is to promote the implementation of not only political rights but also social inclusion to achieve equity.

Black Women for Wellness
This “grass roots” organization started to combat infant and maternal mortality rates specifically in regard the Black community. They work to fight against the health disparities that impact the Black community. BWW includes multiple different programs such as Sisters @ Eight, Sisters in Control, Sisters in Motion, Environmental Justice, and Civic engagement.

Center for Black Equity
The goal of this organization is to create a network across the nation that uplifts and supports the Black LGBTQ+ individuals and allies by creating equity and social justice. They believe it is everyone’s right to live without fear of racism, homophobia, sexism, ageism, and prejudice. They promote bodily autonomy and equal rights to healthcare, affordable housing, education, and pay.

DuSable Museum of African American History
The DuSable Museum features works celebrating and educating about the Black culture. This museum works to collect, document, preserve, and study aspects of Black history and culture. Their goal is to provide a space where people can be educated on the past well into the future.
