It’s that time of year: the leaves are changing, the weather is colder, everything is pumpkin, and it feels like the perfect time to do cute, romantic things with a special someone.

Whether your special someone is your best friend, your significant other, your dog, your outdoor cat, or your mom, here are some fun things to do around campus this fall!

  1. Rocky Horror Picture Show – Manayunk

If this classic spooky season, audience-involved musical is your cup of tea, fear not! The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be playing this week, October 13th, in Manayunk – about 10 minutes from campus. Tickets start at $15 apiece, you can get them here.

  1. Manayunk Trick-or-Trolley (Free!)

From now through November 5th, sail through Main Street Manayunk on the free Trick-or-Trolley. The trolley will make stops at several Manayunk hot spots, including bars, restaurants, and the new Haunted House at Shurs Lane and Main Street. The trolley is free to ride and starts at the shopping center off Ridge Avenue and Main Street. Details are here.

  1. Lincoln Mill Haunted House

Formerly home to Mad River Restaurant, the Lincoln Mill Haunted House is a new spooky season festivity in Manayunk. The lore behind the haunted house is that, after the flooding that occurred throughout Philly last fall, countless bodies were found in the basement of the old mill building. Rumor has it that Viktor Kane, owner of the mill in the 1930s, tormented and ran experiments on his employees. Experience the horror yourself. Details here.
