Being a college student in Philadelphia is such an awesome experience, from the student discounts to the countless historic landmarks always just footsteps away. However, sometimes it seems like all that is open – especially at night – are bars and clubs that are only open to 21 and over. Below is a mix of fun activities that happen both during the day and night and are also friendly for all ages!
Â
1. Franklin Square
Â
Franklin Square is full of fun day time activities such as Philadelphia themed mini-golf, a carousel, and a SquareBurger (that has an amazing Tastycake Milkshake). However, if you don’t want to spend money, this park is always a great place for people watching and, most importantly, dog watching!

2. Philadelphia Museum of Art
Inside, priceless pieces of art hang on the walls and outside you get to walk up the iconic Rocky Steps in front of the museum! Or even run up the steps just like in the movie! Every Wednesday night from 5 pm until close and the first Sunday of every month the museum is open and visitors “pay as they wish” to enter.
