Something that I have been obsessed with for the past couple months is collecting Funko Pops. In case you don’t know what Funko Pops are, they are collectables depicting your favorite pop culture icons. Now that I have about eighty in my collection, I thought that it was a good time to write an article listing and talking about some of my favorites out of my collection (not in any specific order) and how much they go for in case you are interested in purchasing!
- Iron Man (I Am Iron Man)
This Funk Pop is without a doubt my favorite out of all of my Marvel ones. Any Marvel fan knows that this Pop represents one of the most impactful and emotional moments in MCU history. I just love all the details that are put into it! It is also a Previews Exclusive and glows in the dark! This Pop costs around $25 and is worth every penny!
- Enchantress
One of the very few DC movies that I have seen (being that I am such a big Marvel fan) is Suicide Squad. My favorite character in that movie is Enchantress, played by Cara Delevingne. On top of her character being extremely detailed in the movie, this Funko Pop is just as detailed, as well as being a DC Comics Legion of Collectors Exclusive! This Pop goes for around $22.
- Krampus
A movie that is watched a lot on my dad’s side of the family, mainly because the main character frightened my Mommom, is the holiday thriller, Krampus. This Funko Pop is not only a Hot Topic exclusive but is also flocked! A very cool detail about this Pop that you wouldn’t notice unless you took it out of the box is that there is a child taped to the back of Krampus! This creepy but amazing figure goes for around $20.
- Post Malone
Being my favorite artist in the world, of course I have all three of the Post Malone Funkos. The one that is my personal favorite is the one of him wearing the outfit that he wears in the “Circles” music video since that is such an amazing song as well as a very detailed figure. This Funko Pop costs around $15.
- Cavity Sam
One of the most unique lines of Funko Pops would be their Retro Toys figures, where they made Funko Pops based off a bunch of different childhood games. One of my absolute favorites must be Cavity Sam from the game Operation. Not only does Cavity Sam look just like he does in the actual game, but he is very distinctive. Cavity Sam goes for around $12.
- Captain America
Although there are probably around 50 different Captain America Funko Pops that were created, the one that sticks out to be the most would be the classic original Captain America. Since this figure was released in 2017, it is not so easy to find anymore. This figure, being the most expensive in my collection, goes for about $80, but is essential to all Marvel Funko Pop collectors.
- Stan Lee Comic Cover
A line that Funko released that is so unique and special is the comic covers, displaying a Pop in front of the original comic book cover that they were seen in. When one thinks of the king of comics, the late Stan Lee for sure is the man that comes to mind. This comic cover is so notable and one that makes me extremely proud to have in my collection. This Stan Lee figure retails for about $23.
- Polly Pocket Shell
Another one of the Retro Toy’s figures that made it on my top ten list would be the Polly Pocket Shell figure. When I was young, I would play with Polly Pockets all the time. This figure looks exactly like the shell that the Polly Pocket dolls would come in, and the shell is even holding one of the dolls which is super cute! It just makes me feel like a kid again! This Funko Pop retails for around $12.
- Groot with Patch
If you know me, you know that Groot is my favorite character in the entire MCU. I even have a four-year-old bearded dragon named Groot! This specific Groot Funko Pop really sticks out to me because it is from the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 movie where Groot is a baby, and he is holding a patch from probably the funniest part in the movie. He is just so cute and my favorite out of the six Groot figures that I have. This Pop retails for around $14.
- Baymax with Mochi
Not only does Funko release three-inch figures, but they also release six- and ten-inch ones! Although I do not have any of the ten-inch figures, I do have a very cute six inch one from one of my favorite animated movies, Big Hero Six. This Box Lunch exclusive figure is Baymax holding Mochi the cat. This figure retails for around $55 and is too cute not to have in your collection!
