When one goes down the TikTok rabbit hole, one is prone to fall into the fallacy of saving videos to favorites in the highest expectations that one will…go back to said videos. I had fallen into this dark abyss of TikTok Favorites and that’s when TikTok released the option to sort these favorites into folders. Alas, a glorified TikTok virtual bookshelf for my video-hoarding tendencies.
One of these folders is titled “places.” With such an elaborate name, one might expect worldwide exploration, yet half of my videos are based in New York. Thus, with a looming New York trip in my future, I sorted through my 65 videos under “places” and have presented here a Tik-Tok-algorithm curated New York Trip.
