This week was definitely one for the books: A week that drags on and Tuesday feels like Friday. Essentially a week that could only be improved by one thing: a spontaneous Sephora run. Honestly, that’s the best kind of shopping trip. Here’s a summary of the items I picked up.*
1. Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39): I’ve been needing a new pore-filling primer to put under foundation and so far I do like this one. Tarte is one of my favorite brands and hopefully this won’t disappoint.

2. Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara ($23): Last week I was graced with a lovely stye which made my eye swollen and gave me the general appearance of Quasimodo. These usually come from old mascara or not washing off makeup, so I picked up my favorite mascara. This isn’t waterproof but it does last all day without flaking or smudging and makes lashes look feathery and ~luscious~.
3. Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil ($24): My brow pencil recently broke so I decided to try Benefit’s pencil since I love their tinted brow gel. So far I’ve loved how easy it makes filling in my brows without making them too dark. This is also a great value for a long lasting product and comes with a small brow brush-thing at the end.

4. Hourglass Girl Lip Stilo ($32): This was definitely a splurge but worth it! I got the color Futurist which is the perfect nude and it is so easy to apply given its pointed tip. The finish is a great satin texture and it makes a great everyday lipstick.
5. Urban Decay Naked Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer ($28): Due to my paler complexion in the winter I am always needing a lighter concealer. This one is a cult favorite from YouTube videos and I decided to try something new. So far I like the consistency as its not too thick but it has great coverage.
*Disclaimer: I don’t often make spontaneous shopping trips often. Makeup can be pricey but Sephora is a dangerous place.
