Recipe of the Week: Allrecipe’s Easy Garlic Chicken

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JHU chapter.

This year is my first year not on a meal plan, and I have been searching for super easy recipes that I can whip up in 15 minutes or less.  This week I found one from allrecipe, and it is easy and delicious!  I would really recommend this if you are just starting to get into cooking.

To make this you will need:

1. 1.5 pounds of skinless, boneless chicken breast

2. 1/4 cup of butter

3. 6 cloves of crushed garlic

4. 2 cups of seasoned dry bread crumbs

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)

2. In a small saucepan melt butter/margarine with garlic.  Dip chicken pieces in the butter and garlic sauce, letting any extra drip off, then coat them completely with bread crumbs

3. Place coated chicken in a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish.  Combine any leftover butter and garlic sauce with bread crumbs and spoon the mixture over the chicken.  Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to an hour.

Enjoy!
