Recipe of the Week: Baked Salmon

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JHU chapter.

Sometimes during a busy week it is hard to find the time to make dinner, let alone a healthy one.  It’s so easy to fall back on junk food and small snacks to fit in while you study.

Here is a recipe for an easy weeknight salmon that takes 20 minutes total to make, and you can study while the salmon is in the oven!

Ingredients:

2 salmon filets (as fresh as possible from your local grocery store)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon of garlic

Pinch of salt

Dash of pepper

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit

In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper

Place aluminum foil on a baking sheet so the sauce doesn’t stick to it

Place salmon filets on the center of the baking sheet and pour sauce that you mixed together over it evenly

Cook for 15 minutes

This is my absolute favorite way to make salmon, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
