As we all know, Sunday marked the 2016 Oscars ceremony, or what will probably be remembered as “The Year Leo Won.” There were many memorable moments from the evening including Chris Rock’s no-nonsense opening monologue, Lady Gaga’s moving performance and the newest addition to the Chrissy Teigen Oscars meme collection. Whether you missed the show by accident or simply had no time to sit around and watch the same actors and actresses be rushed off of the stage after their forty-five seconds of fame, we’ve reacted to all of the night’s top moments for you.

The Compton movie goers had us feeling sort of like

Jacob Tremblay made a lot of young women reconsider their embargo on having children

“Thanks, Chris! I loved you in Madagascar!”

Seeing the Star Wars Droids had most of us checking out calendars for The Force Awakens DVD release date like

At first, Joe Biden’s appearance had many of us like

But after his incredible introduction, that quickly changed to

Lady Gaga’s powerful performance of “Till It Happens to You” left us kind of like

Sharpen Obeid Chinoy’s acceptance speech was a much needed reminder of what happens when women work together

And getting to witness the moment that Leo finally won his was a combination of this

And this

And also this

Overall, the 2016 Oscars were a pleasant way to spend a Sunday evening avoiding homework. We just hope that by next year, the list of nominees will be a much more inclusive and diverse one.
