Fun Ways to Throw the Best Holiday Party Ever!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

Everyone knows the perfect holiday party consists of just the right amount of delicious treats, fun decorations, holiday music, and best friends. There are many simple and creative ways to ensure that you and your guests have a great night. Check out these cute ways to personalize your next holiday party!

An inexpensive and fun way to spice up decorations is to make your own garland. String marshmallows and popcorn together to make this cute (and delicious) decoration. You could even use a festive holiday ribbon to wrap around your tree. Paper cutout snowflakes are also the perfect decoration to hang around your house with a thin piece of red or green ribbon.

No party is complete without sweet treats. White chocolate covered pretzels are the ideal party snack because they are the perfect combination of sweet and salty, and leave no mess. Finger foods are perfect too because they are easy to make, present, and fill you up with just the right amount of holiday goodness. Another fun and easy snack to make is marshmallows dipped in chocolate, topped with holiday sprinkles!

With all of these tips in mind, one last thing you don’t wait to forget is music. Whether it is live or your iPod, music sets the tone for a party. So put on your favorite Christmas tunes and get ready to have a successful holiday party. Be creative and, most importantly, have fun!
