How many cups of tea do you drink a day?

5 or 6 depending on what season it is!

(I always know she’s awake in the morning when I hear the tea kettle go off in the kitchen)

What’s your favorite type of tea?

Lady grey, it’s a light black tea and it’s honestly so amazing.

(she was actually drinking this during the interview, and was running out of it so I can

confirm that it’s her favorite)

Do have a specific memory associated with tea?

My mother is from China, and I grew up there, so we always had tea at all of our meals. That’s

mainly what my mother and father drank as well, so I really grew up on it.

Do you have a ritual of making it?

For the morning, I need to have a cup in order to be relaxed throughout the day.

In the evening, I have a cup also to be relaxed and to prepare me for yoga.

(She does yoga most nights, usually on our patio outside)

Do you have a favorite type of food to eat with your tea?

Cake! Cake goes so good for tea!

Is there anything else you would like to say about tea?

I’m pretty sure tea is the reason Asian people live longer, so we should all definitely hop

on the tea train. It’s great for your body, and it makes me happy so it’s a win win!
