Each spring, something magical happens in Harrisonburg. A DIY music festival and conference called Macrock takes place in our very own backyard. A variety of musical acts come from all over the United States to set up camp throughout local downtown venues. There is also a panel portion of the weekend where open discussions are held on a variety of subjects. Macrock is held the first weekend every April.

Katie Feinberg is a sophomore SMAD major, a transfer student from Hogwarts, an optimist, a bubble bath enthusiast,  an avid napper, a radio personality, and a part time gangster. She possesses a fiery love for hot tea, Wonka brand candy and anything Tina Fey.
