Top 5 iPhone Cases of 2012!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

Last week fellow Her Campus JMU blogger, Alicia Inkrote, introduced the top five iPhone apps of 2011. This week, we’re going to tackle the top five most popular iPhone cases out right now! Some offer a more aesthetic appeal, while others simply guarantee 100% complete protection with a somewhat mundane appearance. There is a lot of variety for you to find one that fits your needs and, of course, keeps your phone safe.

5. Did you ever think your phone could glow-in-the-dark? Well, now it can. iLuv Aurora Glow-in-the-Dark Case for iPhone 4 Series ($29.99) comes in two color combinations, and has a playful pattern that illuminates at night or in a dark room.

4. There are so many different styles of iPhone cases in stores today that it’s hard to find one that truly stands out from all the rest. Grove Bamboo makes cases out of… you guessed it, bamboo! These cases come decked out with intricate designs, and you can even pay extra if you’d like to personalize the design. Grove Bamboo “Tribal” ($89.00)

3. Neiman Marcus Monogrammed iPhone 4 Case, $56.00 comes in two different colors. The best part about these cases is that you can monogram them. Now you don’t have to worry about having the same case as someone else, because you can personalize your very own!

2. Kate Spade offers quite the selection of fun, whimsical iPhone cases. These cases come in lively prints and, although they may not be as durable as some other brands, they are sure to catch your eye with their vibrant hues. The black and white polka dot patterned Kate Spade Le Pavillion iPhone 4 Case, $40.00 is simple, but sure to keep your beloved phone stylish.

1. If you are looking for a more durable case, Otterbox has an array of defensive cases that offer top-notch protection in just about every environment. Otterbox iPhone 4 Defender Series Case (on sale for $39.95) comes in six different colors and has a protective plastic and silicone shield. Otterbox has cases for the iPhone 3 and iPhone 4’s as well.
