Winter Wardrobe Blues

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

Now that Mother Nature has finally decided to welcome us with winter weather, don’t let the change in temperature affect your everyday wear.  During the winter months, all we want to do is curl up in our warm beds with a hot cup of tea and a good book. But, don’t let the darker days and chilly mornings stop you from looking your best!  One popular hue that is on trend for this winter is cobalt blue. From purses to jeans, we’ve found the perfect selections to brighten up your wardrobe and mood!

J. Brand Skinny Jean Royal Blue ($69.00) Paired with a neutral top and flats, you’ll be all set for a long day of classes!

Modcloth Quilt the Charmer Bag ($59.99) is the perfect sized bag for all of your necessities and will brighten up just about every outfit.

Modcloth Blue and Me Forever Dress ($59.99) The great thing about this dress is that you can play it up with heels, or dress it down with a pair of tights and boots.

Cobalt blue is a popular color for winter because it adds just the right amount of color, without feeling too summery. What are your favorite colors to wear during the winter?
