I am writing this sat in my garden bathing in the sunshine. This makes me unbelievably excited for another summer in London. I think one of the best things about London is there are always things to do and places to explore.
Therefore, I thought I would make this list to inspire you too to explore London this summer:
- Picnics in the park. I think picnics may be my favourite thing to do. Grab your friends, Pimm’s (or lemonade) and a speaker, and life is blissful. Parks I intend to do this in; Regents Park, Greenwich Park, Hyde Park, Victoria Park, and St James’ Park.
- On rainy days, visit museums and art galleries. For example, Tate Modern, The V&A, The Design Museum, and The Photographer’s Gallery.
- Travel a little further out to get some more outdoors; Kew Gardens, swim in Hampstead Heath and visit Richmond Park.
- Go to Columbia Road on a Sunday morning to see the flower market.
- Go to the theatre to see a musical. Some of my favourites include Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, SIX, Waitress and Come From Away.
- If you fancy a night on the town, a few bars I recommend include; The Blue Post (W1D 6DJ), Tamesis Dock (SE1 7TY), SOMA (W1D 7HJ, Orbit Beers (SE17 3HD), Amie Wine Studio (SW1 9NF)
- Visit the Barbican Conservatory.
- Visit Fairgame (E14 4DH) to bring out your competitive side.
