Every season I find an album that resonates with my spirit, and then I play it repeatedly until everyone around me knows it and hates it. And then guess what I do? I play it some more!! I love it when music emulates the energy of the earth. So, here are two my two autumn albums. Truth Is ~ Sabrina Claudio
This album has compiling beautiful, soulful melodies. Each track is filled with sound-bowl-like tunes that follow a consistently soft and peaceful voice. My favorite song is, “Take one to the Head.” As she opens the song with a sultry hum, I envision golden leaves, but once the beat drops, I envision air so crisp it leaves a frost on tips of the grass. Her lyrics will have you in your feelings while simultaneously helping you through them. This album is consistent with a peaceful vibe while fluctuating the ambiance with each song, just as my mood fluctuates throughout the fall. Little Ghost ~ Moonchild
Moonchild is notorious for creating smooth albums that one can enjoy without skipping a song! This album is particular, uses cymbals, which make me think fishing on a shimmering lake or climbing and mountain to watch the sunrise. Plus, it incorporates jazz, which gives a wind-blowing vibe. This album carries serendipitous and carefree energy, which helps with my anxiety. My favorite song, even though I love them all tbh, is “The Other Side.” This song is my alarm; it is so soothing, but as the tempo accelerates, joyful energy spills out of my speaker. It’s just an excellent way to awaken. Here is a last minute treat I have for you music lovers. There is a single called “Beauty” by Free Nationals, I just discovered it over the weekend and the fashion of funk and R&B is amazing. So, now that I have let you in on my favorite autumn albums, I hope you enjoy!
