Every year Starbucks launches their holiday menu in early November, meaning Starbucks lovers alike order frequent favorites such as the Peppermint Mocha and Caramel Brulee all throughout the holiday season! Unfortunately, only having so many holiday drink options can get boring or repetitive. Looking for something new to try on your next trip to Starbz? Here are some new recipes straight from real Starbucks baristas!
Â
1. Toasted White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha
What would happen if two of Starbucks’ most popular Christmas drinks had a baby? Heaven in a cup, that’s what! For something a bit sweeter and lighter than the original Peppermint Mocha, try it with the new toasted white chocolate mocha syrup rather than regular mocha! It’ll surely make your taste buds sing with the sweetness of white mocha and refreshing peppermint. Delicious!
How to order:
- Peppermint Mocha
- Replace Mocha with Toasted White Chocolate Mocha.
- Cranberry Topping OR Dark Chocolate Curls on top (or both, if you’re feeling adventurous!)
2. Eggnog Chai Latte
If you’re not a big coffee person but love eggnog, try the Eggnog Chai Latte! The cinnamon in both the chai and eggnog will give your drink an extra spicy kick without any espresso.

- Coffee-based Gingerbread Frappuccino
- Add white mocha sauce (1 pump tall, 1.5 grande, 2 venti)

The Coquito Frappuccino is based off of a Puerto Rican holiday beverage similar to eggnog, and is actually being served at the Starbucks’ in Puerto Rico this holiday season! The Puerto Rican drink is originally made with cream of coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg and other ingredients to make it rich and creamy. Here’s how to order it at your local Starbucks:
How to order:
- Cream-based Frappuccino

- Coconut syrup (1 pump tall, 1.5 grande, 2 venti): If no coconut syrup use coconut milk instead of regular milk!

5. Ferrero Rocher Hot Chocolate
Some may say that the Chestnut Praline’s nutty flavor reminds them of a Ferrero Rocher chocolate; all it’s missing is the chocolate itself! Here’s how to get that same chocolate nutty flavor in your Starbucks cup.
How to order:
- Hot Chocolate
- Chestnut Praline instead of Vanilla
- Whipped Cream
