Season 6 of Game of Thrones is upon us, and if the past seasons have taught fans anything, it’s that we’re in for a roller coaster of emotion. With the TV series catching up to the end of the books, the producers of the show are able to throw anything our way. Regardless, the seven phases of watching Game Of Thrones will forever remain the same.
Phase 1:
You hear the opening theme.
DUUUUUUNDUNDUNDUNDUUUUUUNDUNDUUUUUDUUUUDUUUUUN
Phase 2:
The excitement of a new season hits you as the first scene starts.
Phase 3:
You’re filled with love upon seeing your favorite character again (if your favorite isn’t dead yet, that is).
Phase 4:
You remember that no one is safe, and you shouldn’t get attached.
Phase 5:
You quickly realize that you were mistaken, and that you are in fact not ready at all for the twists Benioff and Weiss have prepared for the new season.
Phase 6:
There are only five minutes left and you know you’re about to be left hanging until next week.
Phase 7:
The show ends and you begin to wonder why in the world you put yourself through this emotional toil.
