Her Campus: What are you involved in on campus?
Caitlin: I am involved with The Fashion School’s annual fashion show, Mortar Board, Kent State Tour Guides, Student Ambassadors, and my sorority Chi Omega.

HC: Can you tell us about the Fashion Show?
Caitlin: First, Senior designers create collections. Next, the fashion show management team creates a show, typically showing around 100 pieces. If you are interested in attending tickets are $15 for the dress rehearsal on Friday, April 25th at 6:00pm or $45 for the show on Saturday, April 26th at 1pm. Tickets can be purchased on line.

HC: How did you get involved with the fashion show?
Caitlin: I started out freshman year on the model committee and over time I worked my way up up to senior co-producer.

HC: What are your goals for the future?
Caitlin: I want to get involved in event planning in the New York City area; working on the fashion show has been a great opportunity for me.

HC: That sounds amazing. Do you have any advice for underclassmen or future Kent students?
Caitlin: I would suggest getting involved as soon as possible. Make sure to give 100% to all your activities in order to gain valuable experience. Always be on the lookout for networking opportunities. Oh, and enjoy college while it lasts!

HC: What are you plans after graduation?
Caitlin: I am participating in the Disney College Program and hoping to get an internship with Disney.
