Fall 2021 Fashion Trends to Expect

After a year of wearing loungewear to dinner on our couches, it’s time for a change. Say goodbye to your favorite cozy matching set and say hello to a new outfit that screams fall. Since last fall we were stuck in our homes, it is only right that this fall we show off our trendiest fall outfits. Whether that be going to a restaurant or even the grocery store, who cares? Rock it! 

For this week’s article, I’ve compiled a list of fall 2021 trends to look out for this season. 

Loose-fit denim

Starting with everyone’s favorite: denim. It’s time to pack away all your skinny jeans to make room for some loose-fit denim. This fall, expect to see all sorts of styles and colors. Especially keep an eye for high waisted wide-leg jeans! When styling any loose-fitting denim, I recommend wearing a tight-fitted top to balance out the looseness of the pant.

Trousers

This upcoming fall, trousers will be seen being paired with basic shirts (long and short sleeve) to give that easy sophisticated look. Trousers are my personal favorite trend because they feel like pajama pants! Princess Polly offers a wide variety of trousers that are fairly priced.

Blazers 

The blazer trend is finally here and I’m here for it. I believe blazers are one of the most versatile pieces you could have in your wardrobe. You can find blazers at just about any store nowadays too. I’ve even found some great blazers thrifting! Personally, I love wearing a blazer with my favorite pair of blue jeans. No matter how lazy you may be, adding a blazer to an outfit will immediately elevate your look.

Varsity Jackets 

Whenever I hear the words “varsity jacket” my mind immediately goes back to high school. Trust me when I say these are way more stylish. I’ve seen these jackets all of Pinterest and they all are styled oversized with sneakers.

Cowboy Boots

If you’re on TikTok, then you already know how popular cowboy boots are becoming. This past summer they have been all the rage and have been styled all sorts of ways. I’m obsessed with styling these cowboy boots specifically with a dress. And to transition the boots into fall simply pair them with your go-to pair of tights!
