Let the Countdown Begin: Homecoming 2014

Let the countdown begin! It’s officially October and while it’s the time to look forward to pumpkin flavored everything and beautiful changing leaves, Her campus is especially looking forward to Homecoming 2014 at KSU! This year Homecoming will be the weekend of October 18th. 
 
Kent State University has planned some awesome events for the weekend, such as an alumni continental breakfast the morning of Homecoming, the 14th annual Bowman 5k and the traditional parade! 
 
The Bowman 5k race will start at 8 am at the recreational center on campus. To RSVP click here:
 
 
 
The parade will begin at 11 am and the theme this year is Kent State Pride is Worldwide (very catchy KSU).
 
 
 
The Kent State Flashes will be taking on Army at 3:30 at dix stadium.

Sophomore, Public relations major at the beautiful, Kent State University. I'm overly involved in extra curriculars and have a 4.0 GPA. Not kidding about being overly involved. Definitely kidding about the 4.0 GPA. I love Greek life, I'm obsessed with John Mayer and most recently my favorite book is "Gone Girl." I have an addictive personality. Which basically means if I like a netflix series, I will be hibernating for the next week until I finish all 6 seasons. If I had 3 wishes, I would wish for world peace, that chipotle would stop being so stingy with their chicken portioning and that I was born with some sort of athletic talent. I love meeting new people and trying new things. The end.
