As Christmas is not good enough on its own, there are some songs that make the season so much more magical.

“Mistletoe” by Justin Bieber

This might be controversial but every time my friends and I put on Christmas songs, “Mistletoe” is ALWAYS played. It might just be an our generation thing because Justin Bieber sings it, but it never fails to put a smile on my face.

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey

Of course, Mariah Carey has to be on this list. If you were to ask anyone about Christmas songs, they would know this song.

Fun fact, in high school I did a dance to this song in gym class.

“Hallelujah” by Pentatonix

“Hallelujah” is a very traditional Christmas song and Pentatonix adds a new layer to the already iconic song. They have several other covers of Christmas songs but none of them stack up to this one in my opinion.

“White Christmas” by Bing Crosby

This is another old traditional Christmas song. I think this song is so calming especially during the hectic holiday season and I like to listen to this when I need a second to think.

“Santa Clause Is coming to town”

If I’m being honest, I have no idea who made this song first but it is a holiday classic. I feel like Michael BublĂ© is known for his Christmas songs/remakes.

When I was little I remember singing this song with my family on Christmas Eve.

This list could go on forever but as of this current moment, these are my top five favorite Christmas songs!
