Spring Color Trend Inspiration From The Runway

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kent State chapter.

Fashion Weeks are one of the best ways to see what will be the future trends for all upcoming seasons. Many take inspiration from different shows and runway looks, whether it’s a silhouette or a style. One thing that always stands out are the color palettes that designers use. There are usually a few shades that seem to pop up in many shows and runway looks that stand out more than the others. Here are some colors you should expect to see on the streets during the upcoming months.

Bold Neons

Pops of electric greens, oranges, and pinks have been very popular in the fashion world lately. When paired with neutrals, it has become a staple in many everyday wardrobes. Seen in more of a streetwear aesthetic, these fluorescent shades can be very simple to pull off.

Pretty Pastels

Lighter hues of lavenders, pinks and mint greens are also going to be seen everywhere this season. These are more of a traditional spring color that is more normally seen, but nevertheless it can still be show-stopping.

Balmain

Marc Jacobs

Giorgio Armani

Utility Greens

The utility trend is going to be huge this spring and summer, so expect to see everyone rocking this army green color, along with lots of neutral tones. This green tone seems to be making its way through every season, so investing in a clothing item in this color is probably a good idea. Cargo-style pants and military-esque vests and jackets will be popping up everywhere.

Christian Dior

Ganni
