Living in a cold climate in the north-eastern part of the country can be tough, especially when winter comes. We all have to bundle up in big sweaters, coats and scarves that hide our cute outfits. However, there’s another way to be expressive: unique makeup looks.

Around the holidays there are many social media influencers who create special holiday looks. From eyeshadow with snowflakes to a classic red lip, there are so many ways to show off your style. With the rise of TikTok, there are plenty of videos to get you inspired.

TikTok influencer, Stephanie Hui, known as @stxph.h on TikTok, gives a tutorial with a bold red lip and nude shimmer eyeshadow look. This is great for those who want a subtle eye look while adding a pop of color on the lips for any holiday party.

Another TikTok influencer, Rashna Kutwaroo, known as @rashnakutwaroo on TikTok, shows a bright purple and glittery eyeshadow look. She uses a unique eyelash curler trick for a defined cut crease.

There’s also multiple YouTube video tutorials to follow along for more step by step instructions. These can be easier to follow along to perfect that winged liner you have always wanted. YouTubers also include the products they use in the description boxes than can be beneficial when looking for something new.

They have even begun to include short video clips from creators that can help you follow alongside them. Pinterest even recommends different products on certain pins that will lead you right to the items website.

Social media is a great way to discover new content and styles that can help you express your creativity. Makeup is a unique outlet that can allow you to experiment with colors, glitter and line work, so it is the perfect time to try a festive appearance.
